Every pet tracker available requires a contract and monthly fees, so we focused on creating a definitive solution that avoided this.

Findster Home is independent from the cellular infrastructure, so there are no forced contracts or monthly fees for using it. It doesn’t matter whether you’re in New York, Alaska, or Japan - as long as you have an internet connection, you’ll be able to use Findster Home without any problems, and without any monthly costs. Pay once, use it forever!

Also, since it does not depend on the cellular infrastructure, Findster Home can be setup anywhere in the world without restrictions... And you can be sure it’ll work a treat!

Findster Home continuously tracks your pets’ location using the most precise GPS technology. Their position is accurately displayed in real-time on the map, which you and your loved ones can access at any time and anywhere via the Findster App.

At work, on holiday, or even in other countries - wherever you may be, as long as you have an Internet connection, you’ll be able to keep tabs on your furry friends back home. Who said you can’t be in two places at once?

But how can you know if your pet is safe and sound without constantly checking their location? That’s easy: by creating a virtual fence around your home! These are entirely customizable, so you can define them as you see fit: if you live in the suburbs and your cat is welcome to visit the neighbors’ yards, you can define a larger virtual fence and be notified if he leaves the neighborhood instead. 

When a pet escapes or is otherwise missing, time is of the essence. Whenever a fence is breached, you’ll receive an immediate alert on your phone - via text message and the Findster App - so you can act swiftly and bring your four-legged friends back to safety. Other family members will be simultaneously warned, so whoever’s closest can jump into action.

 We don’t always have our phones at hand when we’re at home. Even when that is the case, they’re often on “Silent” mode, which could stop us from noticing an important alert. Because of this, Findster Home includes a loudspeaker and will audibly notify you of any alerts so you don’t miss vital information.

 Let’s say your buddy is a true escape artist who carefully carries out a master plan to break out. The Findster App includes a Radar which will guide you right to their location, so you won’t have to guess which of their favorite spots they went to! They’ll be the ones left guessing how you managed to figure it out so quickly...

 Assuring our pets’ well-being is a full-time job, which involves much more than keeping track of their whereabouts. Findster Home monitors their activity levels throughout the day, so you can know if they’re getting the perfect amounts of exercise and rest. The App will notify you when things could be better, helping you assure your pets are living their best life!

Each Findster Home consists of a Basestation, to be placed within your home, and one or more Pet Modules, attached to the pets’ collar. Each pet’s location and activity information can be accessed using the Findster App on your phone!

 The Pet Modules are lightweight, sturdy and waterproof. They’re rechargeable via USB (the charger is included in each kit), and can be securely attached to any collar using the included strap attachment mechanism

 So how come Findster Home does not depend on the cellular infrastructure (and why does this matter)? The answer is our exclusive MAZE communication technology. It allows the Pet Module and the Basestation to communicate wirelessly in a range of up to 6 miles (~10 km) without requiring a cellular connection to send the GPS coordinates.

The data is then sent to the cloud via your home Wi-Fi, and you can access it anywhere with your phone's own 4G connection.

Therefore, Findster is free from mobile network carriers. No carrier = No contract = No monthly fees!

We’ve been working on Findster since 2014. In fact, you may recall the Findster name from our previous campaign for Findster Duo, the first GPS Pet Tracker without monthly fees. That was three years ago - the campaign was successfully funded by 1700 backers from over 50 countries, and we went on to develop, manufacture, and deliver the product. We continually listened to our backers’ feedback and made available updates for both the modules and the App on a regular basis, as a result.

Since then, we’ve launched our own Online Store and joined Amazon in several markets. Findster Duo is currently used by thousands of people in over 80 countries!

So why did we decide to launch Findster Home on Kickstarter?

On our previous campaign, after we delivered everyone’s orders, we closely monitored the constant feedback and suggestions we received. Thanks to the invaluable feedback from the community, we were able to improve Findster Duo considerably - it went from great to almost perfect!

We feel these two products complement each other: while Findster Duo, our existing solution, is ideal for outdoor adventures, Findster Home, as the name implies, lets you keep track of your buddies while they’re home or on walks around your neighborhood. So what better way to launch it than replicating the process?

Our team has the same core as during our previous Kickstarter campaign, including the brilliant Hardware team behind Findster Duo and our MAZE communication technology - and the best Support Team around, to make sure you’re taking the most out of our products.

As our product grew, we identified the need for more resources and expertise in certain areas, and added new faces accordingly.
