Here are the steps to follow when taking your pet for a walk!
1Set up
Turn on the modules and your smartphone’s GPS and Bluetooth. Make sure you’re close to your pet (about 2 yards/meters) and open the Findster app - the modules should connect to the smartphone.
2Start a new walk
While you’re still close to your pet (as before), start a new walk - this activates GPS tracking. You can now track your buddy’s adventure!
3Track your pet
Open the side menu and tap “Map” to track your pet's location! You can also tap the switch to use the Radar, which will guide you right to them. View past positions by returning to the Home screen and tapping your pet's picture.
4End the walk
When the fun is over, just get close to your pet (again) and end the walk. From this point on, only activity will be tracked (no GPS). If you wish to save battery, turn off the modules.
Note: You only need to be close to your pet when you wish to start or end a walk.
